Friday Adventure: Normandy

Did I mention that I took a bike from vernon to giverny?

It was about 8 miles, roundtrip

such a perfect day!

As I was returning to vernon, I decided to go up a little side street.
It took me out onto this beautiful vista.
from al of the hullabaloo that was monet's estate,
it was magical to find myself in another place entirely.

that was definitely an experience...
I am so used to the velibs, that
this one, with a sensitive brake and
pointy seat, took some getting used to

the seine again

biked down this hill! Can't really see it, but you can definitely
tell that it is steep
