Jardin des Tuileries

this is an ad for a meet your neighbor site.
it may or may not be a dating site
(here are some rough translations:
left: ads liquify your brain!
top: In what world are we living?
bottom: me, my neighbor, I just knocked on his door!)

Nation Métro

the first time that I saw this, I had a little,
very minor panic attack.
More like I just got stressed out.
Had I really been in Paris for all of these months
and I still couldn't read an ad?
But then I sounded it out...
AND I UNDERSTOOD IT!!
It says:
afraid of talking like this?

but in cold speak

;)

love,
Alex

Métro

This here is an amalgamation of different métro shots I have taken over the past few months:

boulevard periphique, prostitute caravan
(on the bit next to the bois de boulogne)

one of the only two remaining stations remaining with the art deco aedicula

Out and About Finds

Alrighty, I was in the states from the 12th of january to the 31st. I have quite a few backlogged posts, so I will just keep chugging along until I catch up. You will be able to tell that I am back on track after you see some from Oregon.  On y va!

Metro: Abbesses

from wikipedia:
"Abbesses (French pronunciation: [abɛs], literally Abbesses) is a station on Paris Métro Line 12, in the Montmartre district and the 18th arrondissement. Abbesses is one of the few deep stations of Paris métro, at 36 metres (118 feet)[1] below ground, as it is located on western side of the butte (hill) of Montmartre. Access to the platforms is usually by elevators, but they can be accessed by decorated stairs."

Classes: Paris VIII

as I was walking to the metro, I saw this and I had to take this shot

the metro stop that I take when I need to go to CUPA

another shot

another little snack!
pistachio-cherry...passionfruit-chocolate...caramel (?)

sitting in the front row, natch.
okay, well technically the one in front was in front of my seat,
but it was just there for looks, with about three seats.

these breakfast radishes were a great little pick-me-up.
crunchy, spicy....I didn't feel like napping after that!

a different shot of the classroom, with my ever-present water bottle

same place (almost) as the one I took in the morning.
Busy day!

love,
Alexandra
