In order to get my carte de sejour, I needed to get a chest x-ray.

not a medical exam,

not a few vaccinations,

or even a TB test.

Nope.

gotta trek all the way over to the bastille.

oh well.

Fondue! With a twist...

A friend of mine on the program celebrated her birthday here. It was such an experience! And apparently it is something not to be missed for study abroad students in Paris!

the wine in the wine bottles was apparently supposed to avoid a
tax on glasses of wine.
I don't think it applies anymore, but the tradition
has still stuck on

when we got there, it was just opening and empty.
But half-way through our meal,
it was packed!

afterwards, we were such a big group that we split up
in order to get the dessert that we wanted.
A yummy brioche with pistachio ice cream.

Or was it coconut?

whatever flavor it was, I loved the chocolate!!!
