Strasbourg, Day 1 of 2

the cathedral in strasbourg!

the architect added this little doggie.
rubbing his nose is good luck

this clock was amazing. at the hour (it was afternoon), the young man became
a middle aged man (the young man passed the skeleton that symbolized death).
It moves on the hour, every hour, and every day, and every month...(I think).
I think that is was even made in the middle ages.
Wouldn't it be great to see a time-lapse film of this over the course of a year?
Being able to watch everything move...

the organ. how ornate!

the sign of the restaurant where we ate that night

the city from the water

I reall tlove the light her and how it makes the flowers glow

What a cool fountain!

salmon and lentils...
succulent (great word) on the inside,
almost crispy on the outside.
not too rare, not over-cooked

the cathedral on our way home from dinner
